Who We Are

LES WILKINSON, President, has been with Comfort Flooring since 1995 when they moved from Lakeville to Mishawaka. Les graduated from Indiana University in 1984 with a BS in Finance. He has over 23 years of sales experience with the last 17 years being in the flooring industry. Les was responsible for sales in the Midwest and Canada for a Georgia carpet mill before joining Comfort Flooring. He is responsible for the day to day management of the company.

DAVE RIDDLE, Founder and Vice President, has been with Comfort Flooring since its inception in 1988. He is from nearby Lakeville, Indiana and has lived in the Michiana area his entire life. Dave has been associated with the carpet industry since 1982. He was the warehouse manager for a Georgia carpet mill before leaving to start his own carpet business. Dave has an incredible personality which all our accounts enjoy and has the ability to manage the operations of Comfort Flooring as well as provide our services to the commercial clientele.

HEATHER MEADIMBER, attended Ivy Tech where she studied interior design. Heather has over 15 years of retail and design experience. She has worked for a local painting and decorating center along with designing for a local builder. She has spent the last 9 years with Comfort Flooring where she has helped decorate over 300 houses with paint, flooring, and window treatments. Heather always has a smile on her face and all customers enjoy her personality and talents.

LAUREN STONE, received a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Michigan State University. She has over 9 years customer service and retail management experience. Lauren has a real enthusiasm for helping her clients design each space from the bottom up. She is very passionate about “Green” design and tries to incorporate it into the design if possible. Her eagerness and unique knack for helping our customers design rooms from scratch, make her a great asset to Comfort Flooring.

KATIE LEMMERS, our office manager, brings great organizational skills as well as several years in window treatment and interior design. She is responsible for purchasing, advertising, insurance, and office management.

All of our employees are continually expanding their knowledge by attending classes taught by flooring industry experts.
